Is it normal to have a bone/piece of cartilage on your feet?

I've got a bone sticking out symmetrically on each foot. I've researched about it, and found that the only thing I can find that is similar is tibiale externum. But from the pictures I see, that isn't it. It is right on the side of each foot, in the middle of the side facing the area around me.

This is so difficult to say if it's normal or not. I don't know what it looks like and I'm not much of a biologist unfortunately.

Yeah, sorry, I couldn't describe it accurately. I'll try and find a picture if I can. Some of my friends have this, but barely any. Just two of them. Its never bothered them, and its not like its hurting me either. I just want to know what it is, and if its normal.
