Is it normal to have a bed in your livingroom?

My bro use to do it and he seemed pretty comfortable. Plus it was a convenient spot. I think it's pretty awesome if a person has a livingroom/bedroom.

Thanks for the comments.actually there are two other bedrooms but i have only one sound system and tv and i use both always so it just seemed pratical.it brings everything together full size bed,stereo,tv,recliner,kitchen,front door and the other rooms to just use for whatever.

Not really, but there isn't anything wrong with it... I just find it kind of quirky.

I know someone that has their bed in their living room. But the bed is huge and its a one bedroom condo. With that gigantic bed in the bedroom she wouldn't have room for anything else to fit in there. I think its cool if you don't have many visitors.

I have been thinking about maybe doing this. I don't think it is common though.
