Is it normal to have a 28in. waist and have to wear a ddcup?

I was at the mall shopping with my friend in the bra section. We were looking for strappless bras for the senior dance.(Obviously we didn't want our straps showing when wearing our dresses)So, I find a bra that I like, but, it's not my size. When I tell my friend what size to look for she laughs and asks,"You're totally joking right?".
So, when I ask her what's wrong she says that I must have some sort of boob growth disease of somesort and says that my cup size was so not the average for a girl with my waist size(28in.) Anyway, we find bras and go home. But, I still couldn't get what she said about my size out of my head. I felt so akward and insecure afterwards....So, you tell me. Is my size normal or too big?

    I think most girls would be dying to be like that, slim with big boobs. You shouldn't feel insecure about it at all :)

    It's normal, and you must workout at the gym to prevent you from having lower back pain from such big breasts. Your friend must be jealous

    Girl... she is fucking jealous.
    I have a 28 inch waist and run between a A cup and a B cup. When you have a small waist it excentuates your boobs. Tell her to STFU.

    Breasts come in all shapes and sizes. And as others have pointed out, a DD cup size is something many women pay thousands of dollars for. I'm sure any current/future boyfriend/husband isn't going to find any objection to your "boob growth disease"...

    Perhaps your friend is just jealous.

    DD is good cup size and best with 28in waist. You should not feel insecure because mostly girls gets jealous of other girls, who have good bob size. Because guys gives more importance to good size with less waist. So be confident and enjoy life as you are already enjoying. No worries at all.
