Is it normal to hate yourself?

Call it desperate but I kind of really want a girlfriend now as i have never had one. The problem is whenever i start to develop feelings for someone i find it difficult to talk to them. This makes me sad and disappointed and i end up hating myself.
All i want is that one special girl who makes me complete;but is it really this difficult?

Just think about the time after you get your first girlfriend, when you'll be wishing you were single again.

If there is one thing I have learnt, its don't be afraid to be yourself. If they don't like it, you weren't meant to be. Don't hate yourself, one day someone will come who you will be totally comfortable around.:)

It's normal to feel the way you do, but you're already a complete and whole person just as you are!

Don't expect many people to find you attractive with that attitude! Feeling down about feeling down is a vicious circle, but all that means is you need to make an intervention for yourself. Take a break from your mission to find a girl who likes you and focus on yourself. Wanting a girlfriend just because you've never had one before is a bad reason. Take a break, work on yourself and come back to the world with a fresh mind.

Until you can accept yourself for who you are and like (if not love) yourself, how do you expect anyone else to do the same?
Find the cool things about yourself that you can like and focus on those. Build from there. Most women (not so much girls) are much more accepting of physical flaws in a guy than a guy is, so work on your personality and attitude.
Women absolutely love guys who will actually show interest in who they are (they soon tire of "oh, you're so beautiful") and those with a good sense of humor.
