Is it normal to hate your wedding pics?

I received mine today. The wedding was great but i feel i look terrible in all the pictures. The wedding dress and the hair are unflattering and in most pictures i look fat and disproportional.
My husband, who is the photographer's friend, looks much better and his pics are taken from better angles. Everyone now wants to see them but i feel kinda embarassed,, I haven't felt so bad about photos since i was in my teens.

    I hate how my hair looks in my pictures I want to bitch slap my hair dresser and growl psychotically at everyone who didn't tell me the back of it looked like shit. I swear it only looked good when she showed me in the mirror then immediately started sticking up stupidly when she pulled it away. Ruined my pictured. I have complete sympathy.

    I never got married but I hate my graduating pics my school yearbook pics my speceil event pics lets face it sucks taking a bad picture

    I would take them again! Do a shoot with a different photog and get dressed up again with your husband. You should have some pictures of you in a wedding dress that you love.

    My wedding was fun and I actually really liked it until i saw the pics. I take responsibility for the dress and the hair cauz i chose them in a hurry and without any help. The bad angles are the photographer's fault, who was obviously trying to make my husband look good. Thank you all for the replies.
