Is it normal to hate your own country and race

Ive been to Africa 3 times and seen how hard people work there and how much some of them struggle and suffer trying to make a life for their families. I find myself now at times hating people in my own country with their racist one way view of immigrants because 99% of them just really have no f%#king clue what suffering and struggling really is

It's normal to dislike your country / culture, but race?

Africa is a continent with various races, including white people, so it really doesn't make sense to use the hardship of Africans in some nations as justification to dislike any race. For somebody purporting to hate ignorance and racism, you're not doing yourself any favours with statements like this.

I do think we can benefit from keeping things in perspective i.e. looking to those in significantly worse situations than ourselves and seeing our problems for what they are. There are plenty of people who will make a mountain out of a molehill, who will throw tantrums at the slightest hiccup in their otherwise comfortable lives. They especially could do with perspective. At least they're not in the midst of civil war. At least they haven't watched their entire family die in front of them. At least their children probably won't die from diarrhoea etc.

But there are many forms of poverty and hardship. Just because somebody has material wealth, doesn't mean they are happy, or grow up loved, or supported, or aren't traumatised by an assault, rape etc. It doesn't mean they are instantly equipped to deal with the world and life on it.

Similarly, just because somebody grows up without money, security, education even, doesn't mean they can't be happy, supported and loved by their family, will never be a victim of violence or become successful and fulfilled.

What I'm saying is, perspective works both ways. You have to consider all the factors and variables. Don't always dismiss the difficulties of others for superficial reasons like race, economic background, nationality etc.

Race isn't the reason why people are why they are. It is the environment they are brought up in.

Good old USA. Our "poor" are not as poor as others around the globe. This is a fact.

I do not think most people really hate immigrants. I think they hate the illegal ones who cheat the systems. That work for nothing so the companies are discouraged to hire workers in their own country.

Yet people must this high minimum wage because with the cost of living that is the only way they survive. Other countries work for cheap because stuff is actually a lot cheaper over there. You think Chinese workers are cheap? Look how cheap the toys are.

Which are probobly also toys they give to the public. Cheaply manufactured goods they make at a very low price. So I think a lot of racism comes from that and the immigrants acting like we do not want those benefits or those jobs they would gladly steal.

They have people like this all over the world. They do not have to pay taxes since they are unregistered. So the people paying for them are the people registered as part of the country. If they go to school and everything for free it is stuff we paid for with tax money.

Plus a lot of them just come over and wire all the money home. So its not going back into the system to build the economy. It is leaving the country. Which is actually making it poor. Thanks to these people who want to cheat and fuck up the system. It pisses off the people living there.
