Is it normal to hate when people start to whistle around you (not like a short little whitsle but more like a tune or a song)I find it to be really creepy and makes me feel like there up to something and it makes them seem sucipicous I dont know I just dont like is it normal to hate when people whistle around you ???
Yes! I hate that, not only is it annoying, but it also super creepy. Feels like I'm in a horror movie, and the theme music is playing as the murder creeps up behind me...
This is such a great topic and kudos to whomever started it, its stuff like this that I think makes the internet great.
I can be a pretty pissy person, so at the root of my hatred for whistling, is of course because I can't stand for someone to be in a better mood than me, its irritating and it makes me sick.
So selfishly speaking thats why I hate whistling, now onto a few more reasons.
I have hated my dad for most of my life and the mere sight of him makes me cringe in agonizing rage sometimes, which I occasionally feel bad for but when I think of shitty things he's said or done to me, my guilt goes away.
However, when he whistles? I find myself the most irritated, I hate when anyone does it but he especially has a special place in hell for how he makes me feel when he whistles, again I know its just because I'm an unforgiving dickhead so all is fair.
For me whistling makes me envision something really disturbing, whenever someone does it I immediately picture an average guy standing over someone who's laying down on a table.
They are wearing regular clothing, but they have a surgeons mask dangling under their chin.
They also have surgical gloves on, but the mask is left off so they can really be over-the top with the whistling, I imagine the victim smelling their awful breath while they whistle and I picture them casually looking over their surgical tools which are rigid, rusty and yet sharp enough to very painfully and slowly cut through bone.
I'm sure this image came from the movie "HOSTEL" but I just see my dad or a random stranger when I picture it and whistling causes this for me.
I dunno for me it brings out a juvenile need to be really mean, cruel and violent towards the individual who's whistling.
People who whistle are just noise pollution, and they're as inconsiderate as those who smoke where it's not wanted. I smoke, but only when it definitely won't bother anyone else.
there is a guy at work who ALWAYS whistles the God Save the Queen song. OMG it is SO ANNOYING and i have told him to stop but because he knows it annoys me, he does it ALL THE TIME!!! ARRGG!!! it was good to get that off my chest lol
The worst is when people hum along to a song out of the blue. Sooooo annoying!!
