Is it normal, to hate when people do this with shopping carts?

I hate when people go shopping and when they're done they leave things in the cart like it's a trashcan, it's like they expect the next person to throw away their trash. It's disgusting! If I see a cart with a used tissue in it, I'll refuse to use it and look for another cart. I don't know what sort of things could be on that tissue. I know that carts aren't the cleanest of things, but a tissue could have ANYTHING on it and I don't want to risk catching something. Leaving something like that in a cart is lazy. Yesterday, I went to the store and there was a shortage of carts. I turned to my left and saw a woman with a cart. I started to walk towards it and to my horror I see that she left a big crumpled lump of tissues! I turned round and left to get another cart. Wouldn't that disgust you too?

Why can't the owner of the tissue walk up to a trashcan and throw it out themselves? What could be on there that is so bad that they don't want to even properly remove it and rather leave it to someone else? Does this tick you off too?

    Are you suggesting that adults should clean up after themselves? Some people might think you're crazy, but I think it's normal and I think it is completely retarded that grown adults can't pick up after themselves.

    You should have said...excuse me miss you forgot something. Then she would be forced to pick it up or maybe say why she thought it was ok. You'd probably embarrass her in the process too.

      She was already embarrassing herself by sticking her fingers in her nose. You'd think all the tissues she used would have cleaned out her nose, but it didn't. She left in hurry, before anything could be said.

    that definitely annoys me also. as well as when the stores collect the carts and they don't bother to clean out trash that the other customers left. obviously I don't think it's the stores job to clean up after people, adults should be able to do that for themselves, but they should want make a good impression to the next guest and clear out the trash before storing the carts.

    Normal. People have no courtesy for the next person using the cart. The other day at WalMart, I took a cart that had a dirty baby diaper in it. When I got a different cart, it had the unmistakable scent of menstrual blood and I had to wash my stained hands. One of the managers gave me a $25 gift card to shut me up.

    Yeah, I don't like that either. People can be such slobs. It seems like I always get the squeaky cart too.

      If not the squeaky cart, there's always the risk of getting the one with the lame wheel.

        Oh I've gotten the ones with a bad wheel too. And a lot of times, I would put that one back to get another one, and STILL somehow get another one with a bad wheel.

    I thought it was just me who thought like that. I hate using contaminated trolleys too. I hate screwed up bits of paper and half eaten sandwiches ect that's just some of the things I have found in trolleys. xx
