Is it normal to hate when other people have my name?

I hate when I'm reading a book and a character had my name, or when somebody else at my school has my name, is that normal? I don't like my name too, so I don't know why I always feel like that...

    there were an nfl player with my first & last name on my local team

    it made watchin games real weird
