Is it normal to hate when fat girls...

use excuses like "real women are big" or "real women have curves" to try and justify the fact they're fat? I mean yes, there are real curvy, beautiful girls but there is a difference between FAT and CURVY.

I have been small and petite my whole life, and I get really pissed off when people tell me that I'm not healthy or "too skinny" especially when they don't even fucking know me? Like, come on.

Apparantly I'm not a real women because I'm skinny. IMO, real women are women who take care of themselves and their bodies and don't make up excuses. I know I am going to get flamed big time for this but does anyone else feel this way??

I always thought that a real woman was was anyone that was born with a vagina... I don't think that would change even if you didn't eat right, or you were really skinny, really fat, or whatever xP

I am thin and get pissed off for being accused of not being a real woman. I even out a post on here about it. Just because Im not fat doesnt make me any less of a woman. And ppl come u to me and say "god you are so skinny, look at you" but if i went up to a larger person and said "god you are so fat" then what would they say about me? that Im rude!!

Sooooo you hate when people comment on your appearance when they don't know you, but you just commented on others' apperances when you don't know them. Interesting. Look up the word hypocrite in the dictionary.

Weight does not define if your a "real woman". That's pathetic. A real woman is someone who accepts and loves their body for what it is.

  • Well I'm dead x_x. I know I'm a big person but I'm not a total heffalump.

I also make no excuses for my weight. But why does it bother other people so?

    It's not affecting you really.

I can understand where you're coming from. Real women come in all shapes and sizes. At the same time, complaining about fat chicks doesn't really help your case. It makes kind of look like hypocrite.

That made me laugh. Those people need to expand their horizon. A fat person is not necessarily curvy and a skinny person is not necessarily shapeless. There can be straight-sided fat person as well as an apple-bodied skinny person.

I used to be very overweight, so I used to think that skinny people have it good. But now, I don't think skinny is beautiful, nor do I think fat is beautiful. It's being fit and healthy that is beautiful.

I hate that shit. Coming from a guy's perspective, fat and skinny are both bad. But I really really hate when someone who is fat tries to justify their obesity with some other bullshit. GRRR

Not everybody is naturally skinny like you. There are many different body types out there, some of them larger, the important thing is that everyone should feel comfortable in their own body. This being said there are people out there who are obese and do need to lose weight but that's none of your business.

i feel the exact same way as you do i am a 90 lb female and get a lot of comments because the rest of the world is "curvy" but it's ok. sometimes i get comments like "do you eat" and i think that is so rude to assume that u dont eat cuz ur skinny, and i say "u say i look like i dont eat, well you look like you have heart disease and diabetes!" stupid fat fucks

I'm overweight and those ads aggravate me. There's a reason were not attracted to fat people and it's because we aren't suppose to be fat. I was livid when I saw that new show huge coming out on tv. That's ridiculous. Being fat is not ok.

I'm a heavy person though not huge. I kinda see what you're saying. I think as ling as someone is comfortable in their body who am I to judge? You don't like to be judged for your size and neither do heavier people.

I think campaigns like that are started to improve social awareness about the prejudices regarding plus-sized women.

As you can see by some of the comments, and even your own post, there are still too many people out there that see bigger people as being different and separate from the rest of us.

Once big (fat) people are accepted as a normal part of society, then you won't see ads like that.

BTW: Skinny does not equal healthy. And accepting people who are "curvy" as opposed to those who are "fat" doesn't make you a saint or less prejudice.

Skinny women have enough propaganda all over everything let the bigger women have a chance now get over it and go eat something.

I'm closer to a ball than a person, but I'm not bed-ridden fat hahahaha lol jk
It's funny cuz there's actually one of the angry fatties right there ^ !!

Fat chicks shouldn't be proud of being fat, they should at least admit and accept that they are the way they are and know they're lazy and less attractive.

Super skinny chicks are pretty ridiculous tho. It's a problem, and for some reason it's more accepted to tell them to eat more than to tell a fat person to eat less. Maybe becuz it seems like skinnies can change easier.

Personally I think "curvy" or as I call them "overweight" there is no reason other than reckless abuse to your body caused by overeating and lack of exercise to be heavy.

Yeah it's obvious they r just jealous don't worry about it u know it's better to be thin than fat!!! Duh be proud of your body cause u have a reason too unlike fat people who r just pretending!

I think it's not ok to call obese people 'fat' and stuff, but I totally agree with you. When people call my skinny friends 'not healthy' I get really pissed off at them, because it's not of their business. I'm a guy and I don't think that girls must be 'big' or even curvy to be attractive. I know a lot of skinny attractive girls. Skinny girls are much more attractive than the overweight ones, in my opinion. That being said, I said 'yes'.

Skinny women think they are sexy cause lots of magazines try to convince people thats normal but fir me sexy come from within if you are fat average or skinny if you don't feel sexy doesn't matter what you look like If you read up Marilyn Monroe might been a sexy woman but she was overweight

There is a difference between fat and curvy, I agree, but many curvy people DO get called fat, because of the extremely skinny girls they see. If you are way skinnier, you might be underweight, it's true, you might need to eat more, but it's just rude to tell you that. YOU KNOW. But it's rude to tell someone overweight(or curvy) that they're fat. Even if someone is fat, just let them call themselves curvy, it shouldn't piss YOU off, it's just a self-esteem thing, and you're getting MAD at them for it -_- Just leave people's weight to their doctors and family, their weight is absolutely none of your concern.

You hate... maybe because you are envious... or they are envious of you... GET ON WITH IT!!! there's not such thing like "the middle line" fat and curvy are two different terms, indeed... but the best one is the one who is not on either one of the two extremes "couch" or "broomstick" because... aside of the apperance... it means they are SICK! and sick is not loving your body to treat it properly... and not loving your body... is the same as not loving anything... so... why bother about a person who doesn't love? you just stay on your weight, love yourself and let the world shit bricks! for what you care :1

The best possible advice for you right now, is whenever a fat person tries to justify there appearance in comparison to you, just think no matter what there saying about you, is nothing compared to how shit there feeling inside.
    So your options are;
1:Tell them to fuck off and loose some weight or
2:Take the moral highground and just walk away and if there persistant just tell them the complete truth (Basically what ever your thinking in your head at the time).

Appearance -contrary to popular belief- is actually a good indicator of your health. However, there are few exceptions. For example, problems with certain organs or glands or people with certain socioeconomic status (i.e. inability to afford fresh produce) might alter people's weight.

Other than that, I believe it's a good campaign to improve people's self-esteem, but it doesn't exactly promote a healthy lifestyle.
