Is it normal to hate weak parenting?

okay so i was in a store today and there was this lady and her kid. the kid was about 10 years old and he was throwing a bitch-fit and his mom just was sitting there saying im sorry! he was calling her names hitting her and all! and she just sat there like a coward. i would of punched the shit out of that kid. it seem like parents are becoming more shitty these day!!! so is it normal to hate when parents let there kid control them??

I find it ironic that you hv to apply for a license to hv a dog but any fuckin idiot can hv a kid.

They're more worried about getting called for abuse. When I was a kid, I got it across my backside whenever I acted up and by the time I was double digits I rarely did anything wrong. I never felt like I was abused and I know my rents love me.

I'd have shot that child. Who gives a shit about jail when dealing with that kid is just as bad?

  • Depends if you want to teach with fear rather than truth. As a parent it is your responsibility to make your kid realize when it's being an asshole though.

Sometimes the kid is such a brat they "give up." But yeah, I hate weak parenting too.

It still doesn't give them the right to act like that.

Maybe you should've lead him away somehow and then beaten the shit out of it. I would've.

Yeah if he was mental it'd be a different story. But normal kid? I'd spank his ass just like my parents did. That's bullshit I'm sorry.

Worse are the parents that just say their kid has some fuckign mental illness.Oh,he's not a brat he's just bipolar. My ass.

the thing is because of the weak parenting from the start the kids became crazier and crazier over time. then they complain the kid gets fucked up by some dude because he thought he was was untouchable then it's the bad guy's fault NO it's the parenting that failed in making a functional individual in society so yeah control your kid or have no kid!

Id do the same (which is why I'm never having kids, they'd be slapped til they're 20), but the above poster's right.
It only takes one 'I saw that' glare for a mother to feel horrible and not in control. If shed hit him, you would've felt happy for her, but someone behind you could've barged through and accuse her of mistreatment.
It's a dulled down, sanitised world we live in today. Kids aren't touched, yelling is wrong and 'scarring a child' is nearly worthy of death penalty.
Next time you see a distressed mother with a twit kid, smile sympathetically to her. Shell know you're thinking the same thing, but understand she can't do anything in public.
