Is it normal to hate vegans?

I don't really hate vegans as people, I just really think they made a plain retarded choice and whenever I see pro-veganism or "animal equality" propaganda I feel an almost absurd amount of anger and disgust. Sometimes I even surprise myself, because this hate grows more and more, and sometimes I even fantasize about doing something bad to animals or say hurtful things just to make vegans feel bad.
The worst is when people say that animal's deaths make them more sad than human's deaths, how evil/stupid can people be to prefer other species over their own.

Yes I think it's normal to get annoyed and angry with the way some vegans act like sanctimonious, holier than thou, raging douchebags. Please don't allow yourself to be a hate mongering bunghole just, because of a bunch of jerk wads who give the whole idea of animal rights a bad name.

I remember one particularly cunty little rodent of a bitch who I once went out to a restaurant with a mutual friend. She kept talking about how gross my delicious rare steak was. Funny, I'm sure her dog would disagree. Ugh! I just wanted to spray her down in pig's blood. She was always talking and voicing her stupid disapproval or making ugly stupid faces. She was easy to hate.

The OP is going overboard though. He says he considers hurting animals just to spite vegans. What kind of sick freak does that?

I dunno, probably someone very emotional with a rage issue. I knew a guy with BPD who used get a weird adrenaline high when he would get enraged. I'm not saying OP has Borderline, but it's also known as Emotional Intensity Disorder which sounds like a more compassionate and less stigmatizing disorder, but it's the same thing.

I have an awesome therapist, but I have in past found myself so angry, hurt and upset with certain people that I would lose myself in hateful fantasies about wanting to hurt or upset them, and making them feel as bad as they make me feel. The problem is these kinda thoughts make me sick! I have chronic myofascial pain, high blood pressure and GERD among other things. The extra stress doesn't do anything to the other person, it just hurts me. I also don't fantasize about hurting animals, because they never hurt or disappoint me, and I love them!

Not all vegans and vegetarians are like that. I was a vegetarian for three years and I never tried to convert anyone. I just couldn't bring myself to eat animals that had been killed that way (the ways animals are killed in factories).

The fact that you're willing to hurt animals just to spite vegans says a lot about you. It says that you're a sick fuck. I would love to know who you are just so I don't ever speak to you again, you piece of shit. I don't think an animal's death is worse than a human's, but I do think the deaths of animals are taken far too lightly. All life has intrinsic value. We are products of evolution just like animals. We aren't any more special than they are.

Well i think these vegan and vegetarian hate post need to add words like self-rightous or something because i get slightly offended

My dad is a vegan, it was his personal choice, something he thought about since he was a kid but never followed thru with until he was in his 40's

He doesnt preach or have any desire to "convert" others. I eat vegetarian 90% of the time. Vegan be too much for me, whats life without a cheesey omlet?

I dont think people need to stop eating meat. i do think we ,as a nation, eat unhealthy amounts of meat and processed sugars, etc.

I mearly think a more balanced diet is important

I don't understand them either and I don't support it in any way but I think its a waste of your time to be this wrapped up in their lifestyle choice . I also find it unusual to say you want to hurt animals . I wouldn't put my steak away to appease a vegan but I wouldn't go Rambo on an animal to upset them either . I think you just need to stick to your beliefs and let them do whatever it is they do .

I don't eat a lot of meat maybe once a week, but sometimes for a joke I will say to vegans, "For every animal you don't eat I'm gonna eat three!"

They're doing it for valid reasons. The beef and poultry and dairy industries are absolute horror shows in many cases. The amount of greenhouse gas that grazing livestock produce is ten times the amount produced by motor vehicles and coal. But it is kind of unrealistic to not eat meat or animal products AT ALL. and with all the preservatives and hormones in meat and normal foods people eat, it sometimes is a healthier option. I'd never do it, and my ex (that was a vegan), we fought all the time about her being vegan/vegetarian and just eating meat whenever shenfelt like it. It pissed her off so much that I'd tell people she wasn't a vegan lol that she's just fancier than all of you. Humans were meant to eat meat. Maybe not the way we do today, but who has the time to raise and slaughter their own damn chickens and cows? I don't evev have a back yard.

    • If there's anything about some stage or process of the production of a particular type of food that makes you uncomfortable or disgusted, then you were not meant to eat said food.

Being a vegan is a fad. A trend. These hypocrites don't become vegans because they care about animals. They just want to conform in order to fit in.

Yes, some vegans are entitled, superiorist and pretentious pieces of fucking shit but try not to take your hate to such abnormal levels and just try to remember that there will always be shitty people on earth

actually vegans are healthier than people that eat meat. im a vegetarian and I don't think I could be a vegan XD but the benefits are great. also your 3x times less likely to get heart diseases if your a vegan and 2x less if your a vegetarian. there for argument invalid. XD

'Oooooh I eat meat, me so cool, me manly.'

I will always have more respect for vegans and vegetarians than anybody else; anyone that can refrain from exploiting a living being gets an unfathomable amount of respect from me; plus why would I want someone around me who can kill without feeling any remorse? Those people sure as hell wouldn't make good role models, unless your idea of a role model is eating dead flesh.

I normally don't barrage or thrust my Veganism upon people (I try my best to suppress it unless these kind of situations arise) as everyone has the fundamental right to choose what they do with their lives; but getting angry and threatening to hurt living things because of a stranger's harmless lifestyle? It seems as if you share similar views as the infamous National-Socialist who existed not a century ago, you know, the anger and resentment for things you don't quite understand? Or you could be the paragon of ignorance, who knows? I would personally advise that you grow up and approach the world with more of an open mind; it could change your life.

Oh yeah, lose your idiotic, apoplectic attitude.

    Withal, have a good day.

I don't hate vegans as long as they don't lecture me about my eating habits. However, I do find it much too bothersome to associate with them, so I do not do so.

My teacher says he thinks people who want to save the Florida Panther are stupid, then he told us a nice little story of why. "Imagine you are a little boy, just out walking along, minding your own business, enjoying the nice Florida sun. Your having a fun time. All of a sudden your forced to the ground by a 300 pound animal that just wants to eat you. As you feel it's teeth sever your neck from your spine, the last thing you think about is 'I used to love cats'."

    Made my day XD
