i saw the 1st movie at a sleepover last summer...meh..it was ok, bt i wouldn't waste money buying the movies or the books. what really makes me hate it is the fact tht almost every girl in this world is either obsessed with jacob or edward. Generally, i think edward's cuter than jacob, bt neither one of them is worth OBSESSING over. Taylor Launtner is so freakin arrogant JUST BECAUSE everyone likes him. Well you know what?!?! I know it has one of the most ridicules fan-base, but you can't hate twilight for that! you can hate those people for that. Yeah, I feel the exact same way about Twilight. I think it's mostly because it's targeted towards teen girls, who catch onto trends pretty quicky. So once that was started, vampires became the 'cool' new thing, which sucks for the rest of us who liked vampires before Twilight.

But in my opinion, the book is poorly written, pathetic and a complete step backwards for feminists ;)
