Is it normal to hate those ear-clip phones (whatever they are called)?

Those miniature cell phones that people wear clipped to their ears. I don't know what they are called. I don't care. I hate them. I would not be caught dead wearing something like that. It's like they are saying "I am so ridiculously extroverted that I can never allow my phone to leave my ear!" I also hate anything that smacks of "futuristicness". Is this normal?

    Its illegal to talk on the phone while driving, so bluetooth are really useful for that here. But as soon as you get out of the car you look like a showoff

    I hate them too. Not because they are "futuristic" but because they are ugly, annoying, and the wearer startles me be speaking to someone who isn't there. I think they are a crazy person until I notice the repulsive little piece of plastic clipped on their ear.

    I used to work retail & on more than one occassion, answered the customers questions & started talking to them... Then theyd turn their head & Id notice they were using their bluetooth!!!!! Sooooo irritating, & they had no clue about anyone around them either, RUDE!
