Is it normal to hate this that little laugh to prove a point?

I know a number of girls who do a little laugh when they are trying to prove a point. Whenever they are going on a little rant, once they are done they will do a little "haha". I don't know why they do it, but it is always while they are bitching or chastising. The bitching and chastising aren't what bug me, it is only the laugh. For some reason it irritates the hell out of me. They will just be going on about some small thing that I am doing wrong. Believe it or not, it usually goes something like, "And you just need to make sure you clean the faucet. Haha." (that was the chastising, and also they say it in a lot bitchier of a tone.) Does it make any sense that they laugh right then? Please leave a comment and tell me if you know anyone who does this and if it annoys you.

Honestly they probably think they know more than you...My favorite thing is to identify people’s ignorance and then mirror that ignorance..For instance do what they do to you, and see their reaction... If they call you out on it, explain what was making you do that....

Hey dude, my stepmom was the one complaining haha. I don't ever say or do anything when I hear things that annoy me. I just think about it, and I was wondering if these angry thoughts were normal. My stepmom complains about everything I do, and I just kind of listen and nodd.

Ay yo, this is totally normal. "I thought I told you to clean the faucet" for example, is her letting you know straight up that you didn't do what you were asked and she is annoyed. In that situation you can either apologise and do it, or if you had a legitimate reason for not doing so, you would have the opportunity to argue your point. Adding the laugh at the end turns her annoyance into passive aggression. You know she's pissed off but because of that laugh you're not allowed to respond in a way that resolves the situation properly. You both know she actually cares about the issue but because of that laugh, it automatically invalidates your response whether you wanted to apologise or argue. The only thing you can do is clean the faucet, but you will resent the fact that you weren't given the opportunity to respond properly, or you can not clean it and it will likely result in a fight of some kind.

Of course arguing about a faucet is absurd, I was just using the example.
