The real problem is i go to school at the day so i have to deal with the (sun) , i used to cover what i can from my skin so the sun can't get it

Not normal. I suffer from SAD when it's grey all the time.

  • You need the sun or you'll get osteoporosis.

Oddly enough, the sun may cure you of this problem.

Here comes the sun, doo doo doo doo.

Can't say I've heard of this, unless it's an allergy or something. Are you afraid of the sun?

Same here. And I live in Brazil. Damnit. We didn't ever had a winter this year, and Curitiba is known for being colder than BR's average...

I hate it too, it sucks, maybe you're just too sensitive to heat or your skin is too sensible, sensitive, just whatever?

I'm not a fan of the sun, especially when it's humid. But you're saying you don't want to touch your skin. What is the thought behind it? Are you afraid of being burned? Does it get in your eyes? I have very pale skin and sensitive blue eyes, so I'm not a huge fan. I like gray overcast days a lot more. But it's true, you do need the vitamin D.

My friend had a similar situation to yours. She had a lot of psychological problems after her father passed away when she was 12. Her therapist gave her a sunlamp. It gives you all of the benefits of vitamin D, but it doesn't contain UV rays. It's just something simple you keep in your room. You keep it by your desk, say when you're on the computer, and you'll notice after a while you do feel a bit more concentrated, and over a few days, maybe even a little happier.

The sun is an enormous contribution to the world. Without it, we would all die.

    No, don't offend Apollo!!!!!!

Apollo aside, I'm more of a night person. I don't despise the sun as much as you seem to do, but I can relate somewhat. I don't like to get up early I the morning and having the sun shoot rays of painfully bright light in my eyes. In the summer, the heat is practically unbearable. I hate feeling like I'm a melting popsicle! I don't like seeing the day bleed in through my curtains, because it means that I'll have to get up in a few periods of time. Why can't I be allowed to sleep?! Why do people have to get up in the day?! Why can't it be more "normal" for people to sleep during the day and get up at night?! Alas! Not everyone is a night person... Just make sure that you're getting enough vitamin D.

You need to have vitamin D or you will brake bones.

I don't think it's normal to hate the sun that much that you want to destroy things, but I don't particularly like the sun either. All I can say is don't bother going on holiday to Egypt. I regret everyday of that. Well it was my parents decision but I still hated it. The heat is over-bearing.

I also agree with you. I am happier when it is overcast weather than it is when it is sunny and hot. I live in Florida and the heat is not my friend. If I could have the sun out and it be cold at the same time, I definitely would not mind.

        Sun is your friend.

  • Same. I hate the sun. I used to have really pale skin, and since I had to be out for a while in the sun, it's still pale, but not as pale.
I don't like the sun. I prefer it when the sky is grey.
