Is it normal to hate surrounding smell?

I can't stand strong smell, even when it's perfume or anything. I have a bad sense of smell but it still irritates me. This really bother me because people at my job have perfume, same for the persons I pass by anywere else.

Some perfumes give me a headache and make my sinuses hurt, even when someone passes me in the street. I know some people with such strong allergies to any smells that they experience asthma like attacks.

I hate one perfume my girlfriend loves... It's like a bunch of strawberries, a barbie cartoon and some flowers had a very messy orgy in a dumpster and the result is her perfume. It's obnoxiously sweet and actually stings the nostrils.

My sister-in-law can't stand any strong smell/perfume. At first I thought that she was faking it to be a bitch but then it turned out that it was true.

There's one particular smell that I cannot stand. It's a fish called unicorn. People really like to eat it here and I can't stand the smell raw or cooked. It's not disgusting. It's just that I don't like it.

It's difficult for you everyday I guess.

    • Well, since don't often smell things, I’m usually ok but it’s harder for me in narrow spaces. The majority of my friends are girls so this doesn’t help me ether but I’m not with them often enough so in general, I can deal with my problem.

No, pecuecas is a Colombian slang term for stinky feet.

  • I can stand strong smells fairly well and like perfumes although I don’t put them on often myself. I even use wax melts over candles because they tend to seem more stronger.

The times I can’t stand smells is when my stomaches being gay and I wake up feeling sick and sensitive to just about every smell around me, makes me feel more sick, happens more than I wish. I got the best of both worlds here.

      • Figure of speach it’s not litterally gay just being gay, you don’t have to be gay about it.

I still don't know what you're talking about, except that you seem to be using gay as a blanket term for anything you don't like, so I guess you're an adolescent with poor vocabulary skills

      • Yeah and it is very annoying the pains of morning sickness and not being actually pregnant haha. Ibs Is always such a bitch I’m glad it hasn’t happen recently. But I understand some of what you probably feel so I feel bad for you cause I would hate to be sensitive with smells all the time. You must get some headaches.

        • Yes, particularly at my job since I work in a restaurant. I have a thing, I don’t the name, in my room that spread a smell but nobody actually smell except of me so this one is ok.
