Is it normal to hate sunlight?

I block all sunlight from my room and hardly ever go outside (only to let my dogs out). I used to have tin foil lining my windows, but my dad didn't like how it looked from the outside so now i just have a blanket there like this: http://www.anony.ws/kKDd

    That sounds like Howie from the movie Benchwarmers! I guess I've never really had a fear of sunlight, but everyone's different. Whatever works for you :)
