Is it normal to hate showering?
Not that I don't do it now and then, but the whole practice strikes me as annoying. I can't begin to understand why someone would actually enjoy it.

Most cats hate it too. =^.^=
I like it because I love that squeaky-clean feeling afterwards. The only thing that bothers me is dealing with my very long and thick hair. It takes a lot of work to shampoo it, sometimes twice, rinse it thoroughly, condition it, rinse it well again, dry it, comb all the knots out, and blow dry it. The whole process can take an hour, or longer if I use an iron on it.
Same here. Sometimes, if I'm lazy or running late, I'll just throw some dry shampoo in my long, thick hair. But showering itself helps me wake up so I don't ever skip it.
hehehe I actually have an assortment of pretty shower caps for the days when I don't have time to go through the whole hair-ordeal but still want the benefits of a shower.
I have some mild allergies (probably because I have two cats) so I always wake up feeling stuffy. A shower gives me immediate relief and gets rid of the drowsy feeling.
I never get out of a shower and think, "Well, I regret that!"
Oh god I hate showering it's a pain in the ass. Too much loose hair falls out of my head seriously. I HATE loose hair and wraps itself round my fingers and ARGH. Plus you've got to stand up for ten whole minutes when really you just want to shuffle back to bed and go to sleep. And then the water is ok and warm but then you get out and it's FREEZING and you're all wet and then you discover there's MORE GODDAMN LOOSE HAIR on you. And then you've got wet hair to deal with which is COLD I might add.
I love baths.
Depends. After a long day of work, I like to take a long, warm shower. But that's maybe once a week. Otherwise, I agree with you that showering is just an annoying obligation of our modern society.
I love showering theyre much faster then bathing. I even brush my teeth in the shower and sometimes the toothpaste will accidentally drop on my junk and holy god does it burn. Thats the only time I hate showering.
Try a golden shower where someone pisses on you, maybe that will float your boat.
I hate showering unless I'm cold. Hot water feels nice after walking the dog outside for 2 hours in -20C weather
It is a pain in the ass. There is so much that has to go into it, especially if you're a girl. Durring the winter after you get out and dry off it makes your skin dry and itchy and bleeeccchhhh. I shower every second day instead of everyday to prevent drying myself out and having my skin shred on me. Also, no lotion and stuff doesn't work it just makes me feel dry and oily at the same time T_T
Fortunately I don't seem to create much of a smell so I can get away with such a thing.
but for the love of God people please please shower. i was at the church the other night and sitting by this older guy who looked like he was decently dressed he didnt look bad or anything but the smell oh my God....he smelled terrible so bad i finally had to move somwhere else. so bad that ...you ever smell something so bad that even when your not even near it at all you think you smell it still? thats how i felt. the sad thing is i cant say anthying or id seem rude if i wasnt so afraid id say to him jesus christ take a fucking bath or dont come to a public place.
i dont really like it all that much either but hey gotta do what you gotta do. mainly the reason i dont like it is because where i live the shower curtin is too short and also the hot water runs out faster. if it didnt run out so fast and all maybe id enjoy it more.
I hate showering too. In fact I hate water. I hate getting wet, and I hate having to dry myself afterwards.
...but I shower everyday because I like being clean.
