Is it normal to hate seattle bicyclist

I have to commute downtown Seattle everyday and deal with these fucking bicyclist all the time. They want to be Treated as equals on the road. Well follow the damn road rules. I swear the next biker to come down inbrtween lanes is getting an open door.

I hadsome guy just about Nail my car after he came flying inbetween lanes and then when he slowed traffic down he flips everyone for trying to speed passed him.

I can't wait to door someone.

It doesn't matter who is being a bigger ass, if you can't share the road, you shouldn't be using it.

Have you ever been hit by a car? I have, it wasn't pleasant. I was walking home when a driver decided the red light was going to take to long. He cut through traffic onto a small street, nearly hitting oncoming traffic, just barely avoiding them, but he hit me instead. It took about a month of walking to get over the panic attacks. All because the rules of the road where going to make him 30 seconds late.

You are diving a machine that can cause serious bodily harm, the rules should be different for you.

And if you work in downtown Seattle, take the fucking light rail.

I partially understand because I am harrassed by cyclists too. As an experiment, I have been a total pedestrian for the past six months (no vehicles of any kind, even self-powered). Cyclists often don't obey the traffic lights and think that red only applies to cars. I've been clipped more times than I remember.

However, as a past cyclist, I remember feeling the same way about the ignorance of people in cars. I appreciate both viewpoints now and also the viewpoint of drivers who get frustrated too. However (and there really is a "however"), with power comes responsibility and you take to the road in a mobile killing machine, whether you mean to kill or not.

Over five times as many people have died as a result of automobile accidents as did during World War II. Given that, in built up areas, around 20% of fatalities are pedestrians and ~4% cyclists, they've had losses comparable to a year of world war, and we pedestrians have had the full war's worth. Puts it into focus, eh?

I don't drive, but cyclists can be very disrespectful. Bicycling in parts of the road that they aren't supposed to be in. Bicycling slow. I've never really Encountered a bitch bicyclist, but maybe it's just where I live. Either you'll have to put up with them or move. Trying to get justice could make you look like the bad guy.

Another bicyclist hit near my work. Should've seen the damage to this car. Bicyclist didn't even slow down for the red light. I don't care who you are pedestrian, bicyclist, motorist you run a red light and get hit. I have no sympathy for you. Hope you learned a lesson in physics.

Howaminotmyself. You're a dumbass. Like I stated earlier your missing the point. I'm not talking about any other driver other than myself. Also it is illegal for bycyclist to pass in-between lanes in Washington. If everyone is stopped at a red light. They must remained stopped until the light turns green.

And your last paragraph is true I am intolerant to asshole bycyclist who think they own the road.

    What a dumbass.

howiaminotmyself i think your missing the point. I follow the rules of the road. Im very cautiaus and aware of pedestrians. so When some asshole on a bicycle comes flying in and out and inbetween lanes. He deserves to get hit.

I can guarantee that more drivers break the rules of the road then bicycle riders. Did it ever occur to you that the cyclist was driving defensively because a car was intentionally trying to force them to stop? They have every right to pass a car if they can, it isn't illegal. I think you are just jealous that they are moving through the traffic faster than you.

Would you intentionally ram another car because they failed to use their turn signal while changing lanes or failed to come to a complete stop?

Suggesting direct violence as a remedy to the situation only shows your intolerance. What they "deserve" is not for you alone to decide.
