Is it normal to hate putting on make-up and dressing up?

Hey Guys!
I'm a girl in my mid-twenties and I hate putting on make-up or dressing up nice. I used to love to do those things as a teenager, but I feel like girls who put on make-up and dress up are witches (with a b) and self absorbed. I love the way it looks, but I feel like I'll turn into a total diva if I put it on... My mom is not a very nice person and she ALWAYS dresses up...I feel like that may be a part of it. I want to be a laid-back, sweet girl and I feel like if I put on make-up or dress prissy, I won't be. Thanks for your comments :)

I agree in a way. Sometimes good make up and clothes look good but I see many women who get make up wrong. Sometimes it looks like a mask, foundation often shows up lines too. The natural look is cool, with maybe a touch of lipstick or something on special occasions!
I have no interest in clothes either.

Make up is for ugly people. True beauty comes from with in. Beside all women are beautiful. All that make up just covers up your natural beauty. Women don't need make up. They look a lot better without it.

Ids there anything WRONG withg females who like to, and want to dress up and look good, as women should do and be...?
Are there not more than ample critters walking around in ratty jeans and tee shirts, flip flops, no make up and hair that looks like a hotel for creepy crawlies..?
Is there anything wrong with beringf a female, dressing and looking like one...?
Out of admiration for the aforementiuoned, and basically detesting males per se, I am a long time married crossdreser wirh a very supportive, understanding, accepting, knowledgeable, and helpful wife who has taught me all the traits to emulate women, from presentation, to walking, standing, sitting, mannerisms, make up, hair nails, etc., and I've a very extensive wardrobe including 42 pair of HIGH HEELS
So "knocking" others who do wear make up, inclyding your mom (and dressing up) and then calling her not very nice, is not exactly showing "class" on your part, one would say...

Quite truthfully, I don't understand WHY women wouldn't want to look their best at ALL TIMES...
Make up, does not turn people into anything adverse...!!!
Once ANY woman looses interest in her appearance, she liises all respect for herself...!!!
Women are the great thing since Cica Cola, and shwn she starts to loose all appreciation for herself, and the desrire to always LOOK BETTER, then she's lost..!!!
I, as a long time married crossdreser, am always trying to improve my looks, so if a g/g has the least bit going for her, and can't accept this fact, and or want to improve on it, she may as well "pack it in"..
It doesn't take all that much time to do a bit of make up, hair, etc, but if this is too much for one, she is defeating herself...

I agree. After a day wearing make up and thight clothes to make me loook good, I RUN FAST to my room to get those make up out of my face and get into my loose pyjamas. I HATE feeling artificial, but it's better than feeling ugly.

Make up and outfits are supposed to give women more confidence in their appearance. So you know what to think of women who over do it

well I'm a girl and I hate putting make-up too, so just try to be yourself and do whatever makes you feel more comfortable.

Getting dressed up makes me feel so sexy. I didn't when i was a teenager, it's a fairly recent thing for me to. But I walk more confidently and Im much more attractive when I wear makeup and high heels.

I agree with Lockets. Bad make-up can look worse than anything. And it does look like a mask; something a person is hiding behind. Make-up should be about augmentation rather than transformation.
