Is it normal to hate people winning on game shows?

When I watch game shows where people who are not in financial trouble etc and they win money I feel alot of hate for them and the game show as there are lots of people, foundations etc that need the money instead of people who don't.

Is this just me??

    I've had relatives who've won boats and cars on game shows. come to find out they couldn't afford the taxes on the prizes, so they had to eventually turn them down. I sure don't feel envious of them!
