Is it normal to hate people who believe in global warming?

I absolutley hate people who believe in global warming, people who are saying "save the trees!", people who are trying to stop hunting.. Anything like that. Im not saying i have no feelings for the earth, they could cut their trees somewhere not in the rain forest or lower the amount of animals killed by hunters each year. But ive realized that people who think global warming is real actually no nothing about it. They just want to believe bad things are happining. And hunting? Hunting is a huge income for the U.S government(not that they deserve the money), and also keeps animal populations down. To many deer? No food for them to eat and they die or migrate anyway. To many wolves? No deer. Kill the wolves and keep the population even. So is there anyone like me?

Have you done any research? I think your the one that knows nothing...

Your a retard! Changes in climate never happen this quickly. And the changes just happened to pop up when we were first using fossil fuels. Do more research, you'll see.

I agree with soular wind, people seem to think that global warming happens over night, even if we are the cause for the atmosphere to be slowly heating (im not saying we are) it would happen over 100s possibly 1000s of years.

Don't be so ignorant. Humans are pretty much destroying the planet, people like you especially.. ^^

The scientific community are absolutely sure that the earth is warming vastly more rapidly than the natural cycle of ice ages and melts. The only thing they've yet to agree on is how much it's going to warm up. But even the best case scenario is going to lead to massive change.

Let's say millions of scientists have made it all up just to spite you. Even if that was true, could it do any harm to cut emissions or look after the planet a little better? Why risk all life on this planet just because you say so? At a bare minimum, I think you're going to have to share with us what original evidence you have for your claims.

Global warming is a myth. Do research people. That doesn't mean read propaganda. The earth is actually cooling slightly, and the ice caps are expanding along with the polar bear population. The earth fluctuates naturally.

Clearly you know nothing about global warming. If you were to do actual research you'd see that around the time of the industrial revolution, CO2 levels spiked significantly. When represented on a graph, CO2 levels and heat correspond. How would you explain that?

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • Tons and tons and tooooons of coal in our earth came from trees. Millions of years ago, ancient trees sucked up a shitton of CO2, which basically is now coal. All humans are doing is pumping that trapped carbon into the air.

Do you really think pumping known greenhouse gases by the ton into our atmosphere will have "no" effect? Really? Come on now.

From what I remember learning in biology global warming is always happening. Global warming happens because our atmosphere and Ozone layer keeps in the heat. The heat stays within a little bubble and radiates across the earth.

The issue is not really global warming but when we get too much heat and gasses. Since it would destroy the Ozone and melt the ice caps. So that means we need global warming to survive but if we get too much we die. Too much of anything is bad though. So this makes sense.

The argument if we are causing it to become to high or if the heat would gradually rise anyways without our influence. However we cant deny we effect the eviorment since we do in big ways. Now we should be wary of what condition the eviorment is in since an unhealthy eviorment means unhealthy living conditions. However we can not only cater to that and completely neglect the needs of mankind.

I don't think its stupid since that belief might make sense. Its hard to prove it either way though. So neither side is stupid. However Global warming is already happening. So you cant say it does not exist since we need it to warm our planet.

Natural climate change is real. Earth has gone through many cleansing cycles of its history.
Man made climate change is pure falicy.

Normal. There are people who believed that the world was coming to an end about a week ago, but we're all still here! Then again, there were people who believed that 9/11 could never have happened, but it did! Personally, I do what I can to help, but it's not like I'm gonna change anything. The "CONSUME EVERYTHING!!!!!" mentality is too embedded in the human psyche to be removed completely. Even if the majority of people do change, there's still going to be a few who don't give a sh!t and will keep on doing it; just like with racism. There are still a few people in the world that are violently racist, but the majority of people aren't.

    My two cents...

The phrase "global warming" was coined in the 70's to raise awareness to a growing problem: pollution. Climate change is a better description of the phenomenon but the media at the time did not feel it was a sexy term to use.

40 years later we have scientists trying to make a name for themselves by debunking the theory. Climate change happens, whether it is man made or occurring naturally is the distraction that allows companies to continue to pollute or air and water.

One can hardly find fish that does not contain trace elements of mercury. (How many things can contain trace elements of mercury before it is recognized as a problem) About 60 years ago one could still dunk their head in a stream and drink without the fear of contracting some crazy disease. And asthma rates in urban areas are clearly much higher then they are in the country. This is not a coincidence.

So stop arguing over "global warming" and start paying attention to damage that is actually happening to our world.

It's probably because many of these types of people are hypocrites. Very few actually live simple lives, most of them just donate cash and want everyone else to make all the sacrifices.

I dont agree with you but i think i see where you're going with this. In my city, there's a "eco-ghetto" most ppl who live there feel superior to others because they give 20$ a year to greenpeace. Its great to care for the planet, but dont think you're better human beings than those who don't care as much

  • Global warming is more about emissions than trees and hunting. But trees produce the very oxygen you are breathing, so saving them and protecting beautiful forests are a good idea.

And hunting is plain cruel, I can never see the justification in it, seems like a form of approved sadism to me.

The only people I can't stand is Al Gore and his global warming troop. Did you know he owns a coal mine plant? Coal is the worst offender for our atmosphere. He is disgusting.

I took a cruise to Alaska last year. I was told one of their glaciers is advancing. Not receding. Maybe other parts of the world but not Alaska. Winter came early last year for them.

Global warming may be happening, but it's not our fault. The earth is a living planet and this global warming, cooling has been going on before we humans walked the earth.

To not believe in global warming is understandable but to hate people for wanting to better the environment is not normal. And hunting is fine I doubt it adds to global warming at all.
