Is it normal to hate people who are rich for no reason?

It isn't normal because you don't know them in person. A lot of rich people are very nice, friendly people; you just have to know where to look.

Cant stand them, who in their right mind would want to watch their show and boost their rating and give them even more than they already have? They don't know what it feels like to have to work an underpaid and under appreciated job for more than 50 years while everyone who has more than you looks down on you, when in reality those rich people would be lost without all the lesser off people doing EVERYTHING for them. I wonder if the financial economy collapsed and everyone had to fend for themselves for food and shelter, how well could these rich folks who have never even done a load of laundry in their life do for themselves without money to enlist other peoples help, they would not survive because in reality they are the weaker breed, they need people to do their work and take care of all their daily stuff (personal assistant) because they have been conditioned to rely on money/others for almost everything.

The rich are really the weak, they wouldn't survive without their money whereas we hard working people who have worked for everything we have would make it work.

There are some rich people who don't feel the pathetic need to advertise the fact to the world to feel better about themselves, those are generally the ones who know how to take care of their own crap as well, like they actually know how to cook and clean and don't feel above everyday life.

Just more motivation to push yourself in life so maybe one you'll be the next bill gates and your friends will be stuck at a starbucks or a professional date.

Kardashians and Paris do nothing but showing the world how rich they r. They do nothing, and they don't deserve their money. They have all these money, spending them on theirselves, and ,,,they show it to people..and people like them!! It's a shit world!

Yeah I've never met a rich person that wasn't an asshole. I have a lot of rich relatives and remember when growing up that my aunt wouldn't let me in her house for a birthday party because I was wearing payless shoes. I shit you not.

Kim and Paris are extremely attractive so they would never live in a trailer. That's the advantage of being a pretty girl, you can always leech off some dude and it won't appear as such since the dude hopes to get in their pants. That's why you see lots of male homeless people but rarely ever attractive homeless females.

Yeah, I guess it's normal. But why hate people just because they're well-off? It's not their fault that they were born into privilege. I wouldn't hate them solely because they have more than we do, that's just jealousy. But when they flaunt their wealth and do nothing with it, then yes, I can see what you're talking about.

i just hate it when people show off what they can afford especially when i know how they got it... and they weren't rich to start with so why flaunt as if you had a silver spoon in your mouth all your life?

I agree with you except for the Kardashians'. It's my understanding that even though they grew up really wealthily their father instilled hard work ethic at a young age. I know Kim started her own eBay business as a teenager and her father didn't just "give" her the money she had to earn it. They are able to market themselves better bc they are beautiful but I feel that out of all these shows they're the ones who actually show hard work even with their clothing stores. I feel the same way about Ivanka Trump she is well spoken and very buisness savy. Now for everyone else as another poster said it the sensationalism that kills me, I had. Post about it, how it's making our younger generation feel entitled bc all these rich kids are showing that example. My goodness even Snookie from jersey shore acted like she was the shiznick on the premier of them in Miami. I read a quote that she freaked out when she saw Jen Anniston, something to the effect of she had met other celebrities before and never care because "she knows how they felt" when I read that I was like WTF!!!

Yes. I don't like those shows either. Or the shows where people want to move to some great far off place and the house costs millions and they don't care what it costs. For me I guess it's knowing I will never have it. I will be a working stiff all my life.

There are a lot of people who are as wealthy or wealthier than them, who are not so shallow. Those kids went to private schools with kids who were wealthier than they were, but who wants to be the bottom of that pack. I think that being in the media or a "celebutantes" gives them the recognition that they cannot get amongst their rich peers, so they turn to the rest of us. Wouldn't it be better to be King Shit of Turd Island, than be the pauper amongst all of your wealthy counterparts?
