Is it normal to hate people touching your hair?

I'm a girl and I hate people touching my hair. Sometimes my sister like braiding my hair or curling it, and I feel bad when I tell her to stop. Sometimes she even gets mad at me and asks me why she can't, and I try to explain i don't like people touching my hair. She says I'm just being annoying and I feel bad that i don't like it. It just feels really painful and not enjoyable. Is this a normal problem?

    people touching my hair makes it greasy and crap.. i don't even really touch my hair unless i'm doing a style. and god knows what people have been touching. ew.

    I hate it when people touch my hair. It invades my space, and. Creeps me out. I want to scream "leave me the fuck alone"

    It's normal, of course. Not all of us feel comfortable with the same things. Personally, love people playing with my hair, it makes me sleepy. :)

    I'm 52 and my mom was constantly combiing my hair or fixing my collar . It was annoying R2Rnot

    I think the fact that she is getting mad at you when you say no is the reason it makes you feel uncomfortable.

    Just tell her to fuck right off, and don't bother sugar coating it.

    if she gets mad, don't get into an argument, just leave the room.

    then repeat every time it happens, after a few months she will break her addiction.

    and you'll both be happier.

    I absolutely love people playing with and touching my hair. I thought everyone loved it! I would employ someone as a personal hair brusher if I had the money lol

    It's normal, and I'm the same way. I have hair that hangs halfway down my back, and I don't like it when people touch it either. It's one of the most valuable assets to your looks, and it takes a good amount of time to manage it. Who knows where somebody elses' fingers have been.
