Is it normal to hate people that hate facebook?

Facebook is what you make of it. If your friends only post lame things, then yes, it is lame. If they post fun and interesting things, that's what you get. Today I received this quote:

IIN for 11-75 year olds to go on the internet and post dumb things e.g "I just went to the toilet zomgroflmaobbqftw!", "My baby's crying i think she needs her nappy changing.", "I don't have any pubic hair!" or "I ate pancakes for breakfast this morning!" It's like when people write o the walls of public toilets, but more stupid. In facebook, the general population has finally found a way to be even more stupid than when they were on myspace.

I think facebook is something alot of 13-20 year olds have some are to keep in contact with relatives or old friends and some are just for people to upload pictures of a 16 year old with alcohol....for some strange reason they think it makes them cool.

I have a facebook account but I go on about twice a month if that, if anyone has added me I accept (feel rude not to :P) I find it its pretty pointless if you have a phone :/

i agree that status spamming is annoying, i dont do it nor do i read it. facebook is not an ad gimmick either, ads keep the website running like every other. its just a simple way of communication and socializing without a phone or being in person... and you get to share photos. if you hate facebook you are just the kind of person who hates many things mainstream.

My sister usually post shes watching a movie yet shes usually never paying attention nor watching the movie actually. instead shes on facebook or shes yappin tryna distract everyone else from watching and then if you asked her whats going on she doesnt know what to say. Then she ask what its about and she'll post it on facebook. Its funny
