Is it normal to hate one of your best friends?

I've been in a best friend love triangle since 7th grade. I'm friends with these two girls, let's call them Marissa and Abby, but they hate eachother. They get into fights very frequently (over facebook since they don't hang out in real life anymore), and I always hear two sides of every story.
Recently, Marissa got pregnant. So, of course, Abby posted a status saying how irresponsible and stupid Marissa is.
The thing is, Abby has had 2 abortions,lives at home with her mom (who does everything for her, even cleans her room), and works part time at a fast food restaurant; while Marissa is engaged, living on her own with her fiance, and going to school.
I love Abby and Marissa like they're my blood, but Abby is such a drama starting bitch it's hard to enjoy her company anymore.
IIN? Does everyone have a friend like that that they just tolerate?

    I would ask Abby why she's abusing Marissa, as in, "People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones!"

    I certainly wouldn't let her get away with it, considering her own history.

    Maybe if you approach her about it she will get angry and do you the favour of dumping you as a friend.

    I wouldn't be Abby's friend if she was like that. If you feel that why you should tell her and have Marissa as a best friend. Sounds like Marissa has her life together and Abby doesn't.
