Is it normal to hate nasal septum piercings?

I'll keep it short. Met pretty girl, took her out on a date, had a great time. Few days later, she tells me she's getting a piercing of nasal septum (cartilage between her nostrils) and will put a steel bolt in it. I hate them, they make me feel ill, make her look like a freak. Told her regretfully no more dates with me if she gets one. Was this a fair and reasonable deal-breaker on my part, or am I an arsehole as she now suggests?

    You guys are damn cruel, and obviously you've all never seen how awesomely I rock the septum piercing ;D

    Really though. The things you dislike aren't bad because you dislike them. It's possible to have opinions without hate people :)

    I think that's pretty shallow..
    So what she has a piercing you don't like? That's so narrow-minded man.
    I have one by the way and i think they're great and they hide anyway :L

    Septum piercings turn me on, i have one myself as well. Though i think that was a dick move to say you're not going out with her anymore because of it. I guess you didn't enjoy her company well enough to be able to reject her so quickly.

    I look damn sexy w my septum pierced. It's a symbol of a woman who is brave--(will not bombard your phone when you stay out late...) get over yourselves guys, you probably smell like a monkey

    I have a septum piercing but if you don't like them, then that's just that. If you think septum piercings are unattractive, then that's just how you see it. Nothing wrong with it.

    I'd try and not be hurtful about it, but just let her know that you don't like them and you find them unattractive on people.

    I don't mind them. But luckily they are the easiest piercing to hide as they can "fold up" into your nose. You could just ask her not to have it on show when she's around you.
