Is it normal to hate myself so much that i cry for hours?

It seems like no one but my family cares about me. I want other people, my co workers mostly( but it does apply to other areas of my life) im around them all the time to like me. I really am nice, I have a good sense of humor, and try to to engage with people. Yet people seem to ignore me. Am i doing something wrong? Is this normal?

  • Are you sure they're ignoring you? The perception of something is not the actuality of it.

90% of how people perceive us is determined by how we perceive ourselves and if you hate yourself then you can't expect others to think positively about you. If anyone's ever going to love you first have to learn to love yourself.

Its probably just you being nice to the wrong person. Its them with issues not you so toughen up. They dont deserve ur niceness and good senses of humours, I would say.so Stop hating who you are and know you cant please every one and stick up ur middle finger at them and say, chowsai mudur fu.kers. I mean who should give a damn of what they think about u. Note tht ur awesomek

You probably are not socializing with the right people.
It is nor normal to cry like this and chances are, your co-workers are like me... they are there to work, get that paycheck and then go home. They probably have little interest in the job itself, so some workplaces are not good environments to make friends because most of the people there would rather be somewhere else anyway.

Go to some events that interest you. Comic-con, street fairs, art shows etc. That is where people will be most willing to socialize, it is difficult to become friendly with someone that is somewhere that they are not totally interested in being.

  • I find it odd that they ignore you. I don't know where you work but I find people love to talk and/or joke around at work because it can get stressful. That being said maybe your coworkers are workaholics or tired or in a bad mood or shy. I can be outgoing but other times I don't like to be bothered because I want to focus on my work/ finish a task or because I'm tired or in a bad mood or feeling shy.
