Is it normal to hate my race

You shouldn't hate black people or any other race. Do you honestly think you have a reason to hate every single black person on this earth ? You are part black, you should be proud for who you are, white and black. Its not wrong for you to want a white man and white kids, but its wrong for you to hate the whole entire black race when you have no reason to. You can think johnny depp is cuter than chris brown, of course. Its your personal opinion but some things are right to think and some wrong.

I actually like to be around people of another race, but not because I like them better or anything. I just want people to know the world isn't so racist to each other anymore, in your case, racist to yourself.

I have a black friend who loves black people but does not want to raise her children around them b/c she wants them to have a chance. I think you're being a little extreme. You need to think about what you don't like about black people. I take people one at a time and then decide whether I like them or not. I have white trash relatives that are dogs. There are cultural traits that I don't like such as they severe punishments they give their children . The I met a black man that could never spank his children.

Well, I'm white. As such, I admit to my own ignorance of the issue. And also, being black in say USA, is different than being black in say, Canada, England, France etc etc.

I think sure, something in certain peoples genetic make up can make them act a certain way on a whole (it's fact people). But also, just, the way people are raised in certain areas, their personalities tend to be similar.

Have you traveled much? Perhaps if you have a look around, you might realise it's not black people you hate, just black people where you're from? Does that make sense?

But... to get to the point. I think it's normal not to like people in a generalized manner.
If every Indian person I met was an assh*le to me, I'd hate Indian people. It would be inescapable. But just be open minded enough to realise that not all people of one genre are like the ones you've met.

I'm white, and I've met my fair share of douchey white people. But I've also travelled and seen in other places how great white people are.

The bottom line.
We all need to work hard to bridge the equality gap caused by racism. But don't beat yourself up about not liking certain types of people. Just make sure you get to know them first, before judging them.
Hating someone for being a legitimate assh*le is quite acceptable.

Dating wise. Well, we all have our specific tastes. If black people don't do it for you in that respects, no one can argue with that. You just don't dig them.

Self-hatred is sad indeed. Even if I felt that way, and I don't, I'd never announce it to the "world." Didn't your two "races" blend together?

It's bad enough having racists in this world but what makes it worse is when people say they hate their own race. it makes me sick to think that people still listen to stupid stereotypes(including the boys who ignored you due to race).

I thought I was the only one.That hates be part black. I am sadley bi-racial.When I went to high school none of the white boys would pay any attention me. I had history class it was all boys just me and white blonde girl,Shannon. All the white boys treated her like she was some kind of godess. They treated my like I was a second class citzen. Sadley all black boys would to aggrisive with me. Its scary even though I am 30 years old the white men still dont pay any attention to me. It pushes me over the limts thats what caused me to cut myslef. I dont like black people I dont like to tell a lot of people because people will nag at me. Noone told me not to like black people its something I just allways felt. Black me are still aggesive with me and I am tell them I like white men and its funny to see their faces when I tell them that

Damn straight it's normal. I'm not racists I would just rather be arround white people than Black people. I'm white but this has nothing to do with it. If someone dosnt like to hang out with nerds their not considered weird or racist, just picky in the type of people they like.

First of all. It seems like you've been mostly around white people. I understant for you to dislike your black side ( hate's a strong word), but that's sad because you need to study into why black people act the way they do. You don't understand because biracial people are the most in between people on the planet. Black people have been treated a certain way for hundreds of years, and due to these reasons, have inforced a certain behavior, due to anger, and being un-educcated as a people. It's not our fault ( i'm black ). We have been taught and bred to act ignorant for another reason for us to look bad, and look like nuissances to society. I mean really pay attention sweetheart. For years society has looked down upon us in every way possible. We were not asked to be brought to this country. Thru generations we have developed into these people who have a mis unerstanding. We had everything we've ever known stripped from us, from our smart and educated thinking, to our beautiful culture WE SHOULD EVER BE SO PROUD OF!. Go study honey cuz u really need it. Think about what you just said. But you cant take a side, u will always be in the middle cuz ur bi-racial.

Who taught you to hate your race, to hate the color of your skin? Who? Ask yourself why you hate yourself, because you were manipulated to hate yourself, in the magazines, TV, Movies.. etc. Because they tell you what's beautiful, what's cool and what to like and what to hate. You are so foolish to believe that what you are is bad.

It's completely normal. Most races of darker-sin tend to feel this inferiority complex way more than you think. But don't you dare mix your race with Whites. Think of the children, you wouldn't want them to be thinking "Why am I part-black? Why not fully White?"

So listen to this: On hating the black race, I see where you're coming from because I've been there before (I'm black). Unfortunately for you, because you're partly black, you cannot hate the black race without hating yourself. And you've got to love yourself girl, or no one else will love you. There is nothing wrong with black people, it is just what the media likes to portray that's wrong with blacks. Be careful about buying into generalizations. Black is beautiful: we have a magnificent history and we have a fraternity that no one can take from us. We are diverse, we are intelligent and we have much to offer the world. Don't allow these people, God forgive them, on here to confuse you....we are beautiful with the curly hair and the thicker facial features and body. White, Asian, Latino, Arab, Black...none is better than the other...we are all equally beautiful. I used to wish i was white, but we live in a very white world (still) and so the hair/make-up products are geared towards white people and all the models are white; the majority of hollywood is white. The days of extreme racism (though past) are not that far behind us and so blacks are still stuck with this inferiority complex. But you have to be proud of where you come form and who you are. Even if you don't think black people are beautiful or nice etc...you cannot continue to hate them because then you will never truly love yourself. And life is not worth it if you don't love yourself. Success will not come if you don't love yourself nor will that marriage and those kids which you talk about. You must strip away all these racist notions that are rooted in the centuries of the subjugation of blacks. Emancipate yourself from this mental slavery, as Bob Marley once said. I hear ya. Just coming from the Asian side of the spectrum. I am asian and Hawaiian but consider myself white. I get embarrased when people find out I am Chinese. I don't think it's the race or color so much as peoples attitudes. White people are calmer and don't argue as much.

I think it's somewhat normal.. I'm middle eastern and I hate my race... I agree with the comment above me that every race has good and bad. But sometimes I just wish I belonged to a different race..

If it's really the African American culture that you hate, I can totally understand.
