I dont like the politics of my country, I dont like the things our political leaders say on international television, I dont like the wars we fight etc. I feel the the rest of the world sees us as ignorant, racist, fat, hypocritical, hateful over-consumers....
Much of the time, I dont feel that my country accurately portrays who I am or what I stand for.
Lots of people dont like america. Its just a fact hahahaha. You should move! :p
If you think the USA is just fine, you're either not paying attention or you watch FOX. We have lost the war on drugs. There is a drug war in Mexico fueled by our drug habits. 90 % of the guns produced in the USA go to arm the war in Mexico. Bush waged a multi-trillion $ war over WMD that were never there We have an Iran that's going nuke BECAUSE we took out the only person that could control them-Saddam. The Republicans are owned by big corporations and big oil but they hide behide religion and call themselves the "family" party. Dittoheads listen to Ann Coulter, Glen Beck and that drug addled Rush Douchebag spew hate and get paid millions for it.
But don't send them a tax bill! The middle class is disappearing and education is in the toilet. Don't dare go to Mickey Dee's b/c a mental patient with an assaualt weapon will take you out b/c he's having a bad day. The very, very rich pay very little in taxes and resent what little they pay. I'm sick of Libertarians, Teapartiers
and for God's sake----Sarah Palin and

moving away even to a far away place isnt gonna make life magically better or people not suck anymore.. i wish more people could realize this! i personally want to move to a diffrent country but not cus i think life will be better all of a sudden! my personal reason for moving to a foriegn country is 1. my own fresh start. 2. for religous purposes= feeling a close'ness with god that i dont feel as much here, like middle east would be more of a official religous place to feel that religous close'ness! but overall america is the best for jobs, schools, protection, life, Freedom etc.. Love it or hate it america is a powerfull country, and i personally dont always agree with what i see from usa either! its all on perception though and what you feel it is that your personally called to be in life.. we all are attracted to diffrent things that may not make sense sometimes to others, but it is what it is! you gotta live to learn :)

Oh man, I friggin feel the same way! So many people in this country are STUPID and IGNORANT. Maybe it's because our society is hellbent on consumerism and crap like that. I'm nothing like that. I don't fit in anywhere either. Go figure...
Try to look at the positive aspects of your country such as democracy and being able to set a better example to the rest of the world. No country is perfect but at least people in America have freedoms that others only dream about! America is truely a lucky country.

Don't like it? Move!! Be happy in your life no since in wasting your life be mad about living In the best country in the world and someone else who getting beatin because they can only marry this person or worship whoever this way because that someone would love to live in America I betcha!

i am Canadian and i absolutely love America, i hate Canada,well i shouldn't say hate... Canada is expensive and overrated and boring. they are a very weak country and do nothing for there citizens, bring on the immigrants, they get more breaks here than canadians do. i have a goal of being in america in the next 5 years. i love it there, go there every chance we get, 10 times a year. if i move i will probably hate it, just like i hate everywhere we go.
I think how you feel is normal. It's normal to feel disappointed in your country, especially if the majority of policies and attitudes are the complete opposite of how you would like things to be.
Unfortunately, the U.S. has suffered several decades of bad politics and social attitudes - especially the Bush Admin; they really fucked things up for the next few presidents who replace them. It will take a LONG time for change to come because there is a lot of wrong to be undone.
The US is not anywhere near as bad as the Nazi regime in Germany 60 years ago, but I still think there are some parallels to be made that could help you develop a more hopeful outlook for the future of the USA. Do some research on how, and how long, it took the normal German citizens to recover from that black stain on their history.
At least now that you have a decent president, the world is starting to have a more positive outlook towards the USA. Without him, I think you guys would be screwed.
I totally agree with you. There is no privacy in this country (I've been finding out ways that people can spy on you -_-,) there is not as much freedom as I'd like to admit I have, though I do have a decent amount, etc.
Like the others have said, just move. I want to move to my country, Dominican Republic. :D You should go there.. Sooo relaxing and pure. But yeah, just get out of here.. I really want to as well.. I think I want to travel at some point in my life.. Man.

It's normal to be this way about where you live just as some people in other counties feel the same about their native land. Try learning more about other cultures and it might help you appreciate the things that are superb for people in America.
I love my country and wouldn't live anywhere else. Go live in a third world country for a while then let's see how wonderful America is. Fucking ingrates.
Ok the guy above me is half a complete moron and half right, Canada does look pretty good but it's the democrats who are owned by big companies, anyone who's done ten minutes of research into where their financing comes from would see that they get twice as much money from big businesses than republicans do. I'm not saying republicans are good, they screwed up pretty bad but putting the democrats in charge was like shooting yourself in the head to get rid of a headache. Personally I think Sarah palin is just an opportunist, bit I love the tea party, a grass roots movement is just what we need

I love my country. I hate the politicians. They are only in it for themselves. They are driving this country into the ground. We vote. What for? They throw it out saying it's unconstitutional. Then put their own spins on things and force it on us. There will be a revolution to get out those horrible politicians.
It's so very normal! I really don't like the news and politics nowadays! I don't like Donald Trump and Duterte & they're both bad presidents! Things will get worse if they stay / lead longer... I wish they'd impeached or I wish other better candidates were elected instead of them! I'm really disappointed that the candidate I want didn't won because he/she lacked votes! I'm so disgusted by the society nowadays (since why did they voted for them even if they are bad)... Tsk! It's hard having different beliefs and opinions... :[ I just find it hard to like my country because of the happenings nowadays and the annoying people / celebrities here as well, even though there are some beautiful places here... but other countries are still way better! If only I had the money to go abroad... I still need to work! :|
I don't like my country either! It's just the same in the USA, but even worse! How I wish Trump and Duterte wasn't elected and other people in my country should vote for a better candidate who is equal to everyone and not someone who is arrogant, cuss too much / says bad words, obnoxious, mean, etc... if you know what I mean! Everything is going backwards everydays and I hate it! There's so much rallies nowadays too and it's getting annoying! This is why I avoid watching the news since the news are getting worse and depressing nowadays! :/ I hope you understand! You're not alone!
Team AMERICA - World Police is a pain in the ass. It is collapsing under it's own weight, which is educational degradation and public debt that's disproportionate for it's slowing economic growth.

I live in America too, and believe me, there were times that I hated the country too. But moving away isn't going to help, because you're still going to be an American no matter what you do. Just look for the beauty in what you have, and yes, this is normal.
I agree with Randomjelly. Until you have experienced other countries, you can't appreciate what you have. You shouldn't HATE your country, even if certain aspects of it bother you. I'm an American living in Britain, and let me tell you, the place is no utopia. Sometimes I long to go back to the U.S. There are bad things about every country -- as long as human being are in charge, nowhere will be perfect.
