Is it normal to hate my grandparents?

My grandpa never talks to me and hasn't since I was little and went to live with my mother. But my mother is a heavy drug addict so I went to live with my grandmother but her and my step grandpa were abusive and after he died another step grandpa came into the picture. And he was also abusive. So I stopped seeing them every now and then at my great grandmas and I have continued to stop seeing them till this day. My great grandma always says I'm busy. And the worst part is they don't feel any remorse for their actions

    What's the big deal? Just about everyone had a shitty upbringing, in one way or another; what makes your case so special? I'm sure your grandparents did the best they could, after all, they certainly didn't choose to have you come into their home, did they? I'm sure they thought they were done with child rearing. The only one you are hurting with this childish attitude is yourself. Time to get over it.

      You're an idiot. If somebody beat you every second day of your life and never helped you or paid you for the chores you did for them or apologized for any of it I'm sure you wouldn't want to see them either

        Paid you for chores? REALLY? As I see it, it was your duty to chip in and help wherever you could, not whimper about getting paid. With your attitude, had I been your grandparents, I probably would have turned you over to social services and been rid of you. What makes you think they had any obligation to take you in at all?
        Nobody took some of us into their homes, at all. There was no place to live, no meals, no clothes, no quiet place to do school work, no phone, etc, without having to work our asses off to get enough money to have these things, and go to school, too.

          Plus they decided they were going to take in my half brother and half sister when they couldn't even afford to buy me new clothes or a bed that didn't sit on the floor
