Is it normal to hate my father's side of family?

Dear fellow friends,
Is it normal to hate my father's side of family?
I'm female, 26 years old, from south east asia, also a medical doctor. Both of my parents came from none, now we are quite well lived. My grandma from my dad's side and also my uncle and aunt think that my family success were owed to them. Now my family was forced to take care of their family.
When I was a child until teenager, I took care of my grandma. I accompanied her to her doctors and took care her medication.
Somehow, both of my uncle and aunt started to treat me as their servant. Yes, I was happy to help back then. (Not even A little thank you was given)
Now I'm furious. I refused to be in touch with my dad's side of family anymore.
It has been 2 years since I last talking to them.

Sounds pretty normal. I'm sorry that they treated you like that. We often don't see the whole picture as kids, and only understand the whole story when we are older/adults.

Not making things easier, I'm also a doctor. So they treated me as some kind of immoral doctor who refused to help. I'm happy to help. Just well.... Not for them. Is it normal?

It's normal. You're not obligated to help them just because they're your family. Do what makes you happy and forget them.
