Is it normal to hate most of the (remotely) cheesy relationship stuff?

Most of the cheesy (or even general) relationship stuff I don't really like, occasional basic compliments fine, holding hands fine but I don't really like most of the rest of it. Like the joking... or whatever...I really just don't get it.

    You shouldn't feel like you need to put on an 'act' just because you're in a relationship. If you're "actiiiiiing" then you're not being yourself in the relationship and then your bf/gf is falling in love with your "act", not you. Just be you, you'll find somebody who likes ya :)
