Is it normal to hate "lads" and lad culture?

I HATE LAD CULTURE. If you live in England at the moment you probably know what I mean..I dont mean yobs or chavs, I mean like when people go "Oh, hes such a lad" or when someone tells some retard story and people go "What a lad!" you know what I mean? Its normally in response to some story disrespecting women, or some guy acting like an asshole, eg "Andy got with this girl when he was drunk and came back and puked all over her tits" "What a LAD!" or "Ian got so wankered last night he walked home from the club naked and woke up in a police cell in a pool of his own vomit" "LAD!" I mean its just so immature, why is being disrespectful to women or acting like an idiot prime "lad" behaviour, and why do guys want to be lads anyway, why dont they want to be MEN :\

    Arghhhh I love whoever posted this <3!! Lad points make me fucking cringe, when someone does something only a prick would do and another prick says 'what a lad' makes me want to beat them both senseless. Where I'm from the people who define themselves and others like themselves as 'lads' are puny little runts. I'm male and from reading this you sound female (sorry if I'm wrong) but you sound like the kind of girl I like, what ever happened to chivalry eh? Fuck all the lads out there!!

    I don't live in england, but I can see where you're coming from. Here in America, it is cool to party in your parents house while they are away, smoke weed, pop pills, race your toy cars on the street and kill innocent people, and fail school. It's so stupid and I just want to gas them all!

    The Culture Of Disrespect. Instead of a lad, you could refer to them as a cod; the term is much less attractive as it resembles a fish? Anyway, it is normal to hate something so lame. At least its not you.
