Is it normal to hate ketchup

my parents say i've refused to eat it since i was a baby. i never even tried it until i was about 12. i still hate it. i've eaten ketchup less than 5 times in my life. every time i've eaten it, it was because i didn't know the food contained it or it was the only thing available. i don't like watching others eat ketchup either. i think it's repulsive.

Same here! When I was little my older brother would put ketchup on everything to the point that I found ketchup disgusting. The last time I had ketchup was around the age of 4 or 5. I can't even stand watching people put ketchup on their food now. You're pretty normal to me.
I'm sure other people find different foods nasty.

Ketchup is the blood of the gods! How could you hate it?!

(Actually, this is normal. Have you ever considered that it was the type of ketchup or a certain ingredient in it that caused you to hate it. Perhaps, if you tried making it at home with your own choice of ingredients you might find that you like it.)

Normality is one of your traits. I hate it too. My brother threw a packet of ketchup at me and I ACTUALLY stabbed it in mid-air.

I think it's perfectly normal to feel that way about certain foods. I'm the same exact way with pickles, they totally disgust me by there presence even. so I understand completely.

I think it's normal. We all have our likes and dislikes. I hate watching people put Ranch on everything. Now that's disgusting.

I don't either. I don't like the graininess of it, and while im a huge fan of salt, it's disgusting to have salted tomatoes...

  • It's only good in certain foods like a hamburger or hotdog. People who put it in their rice or eggs, now that's nasty.
