Is it normal to hate it when customers or passers by are morons?

So I work in a shop, and I hate it when people walk by and say the name of the shop wrong. (Its a very simple name) and then you get people who are just plain morons who make up their own opinion of what our job description is like knowing the price of EVERYTHING in the shop off by heart (we have thousands of items) and getting pissed off when I have to check a price of something they want to order. They also never look at the price tags ON the products causing me having to walk all the way to the product and having to read the price for them. I love my job but morons just irritate me! They even look for things that we definitely DON'T have and even things that are against the law!

Yeah, people are dumb! Whenever I'm shopping I always hear people calling products by the wrong name, how illiterate can you be if you call Febreeze 'Cabreeze'? And the names of stores, they call WalMart Wal Mark, same with KMart, it's KMark to some idiots. There's a store called Rue 21 and I've heard a couple people call it Route 21...come on, Rue is not a hard word! I don't know what's wrong with so many people! Scary to think where these people might work, that they have children, and that they vote!

LOL a friend of mine ranted once about some guy at the restaurant she worked at, tried to order extra Au Jus ("ahh jew") but they tried to sound French (its already in French genius!) so kept saying something to the extent of "Can I have extra Ugh Jooooooooooose?" Hilarious, but stupid.

Reminds me of the time my mother in law, who tries to sound posh, asked if we would like croy-sants. WTF? I told her I didn't know what croy-sants were and she thought I was silly. She then produced a pack of croissants ("qua-sont") the woman is a total dick!

Yep, some people just really know how to get under my skin, but then I sometimes act like a moron and feel guilty for being angry at the other morons...

  • Yip, people who think they are somehow worth more because they don't work in a shop. It just sickens me that they will call someone a "sack of crap" just because they work in a store. What would they do if I went to their little special office and threw around all the papers and said their little special uppity words completely wrong???? Wouldn't they get annoyed??? They would probably throw me out!!! Yet I just have to shut up and take it??? Just because you are the customer and you pronounce something WRONG, it doesn't mean you are right moron!!! So to tommythecat... I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you!
