Ok so I HATE it when people say words differently like :
Warsh instead of wash
Sundi instead of Sunday
Ideal instead of idea
TheAter instead of theater
Yus instead of you
And so on, 'm not talking about people with accents I'm talking about all Americans ( not trying to be racist sry if your offended)

Yes, you're right, kind of like how you used the incorrect form of the word "you're" in your sentence.
Maybe they think you're saying the words incorrectly? Different accents and dialects spice up languages. Personally, I enjoy the variety.
My older sister says "eckspecially" instead of "especially" and every time she says it, I feel like physically cringing.
Ideal is a word in itself..
And Americans are not a race (unless you mean Native Americans?).
And who says "warsh"?
Or axe a question... That is so annoying. And rurn instead of ruin. Or conversate instead of converse... That one really kills me.
haha try being a microbiology major. you know how many people pronounce bacteria names differently? But I know what you mean. My dad says "sundy" and it's just WRONG!
My pal says 'idear' instead of idea and some people say, "That's mines!" Aaarrrggghhhhh!! Nuts!
Yeah I guess but I refuse to say politics 'correctly' just because that's how it's 'supposed' to be said. One day my way will catch on...
