It doesn't have to be in rude way, I don't care if you're the nicest person, most attractive dude, whatever, it just gets on my nerves like who the hell do you think you are to think you can just come up to me like if I'm a tree or what? Did you get permission? Obviously the rude ways are just not acceptable, but even if you come to me in a normal, nice way, I get irritated. In fact, I like working to get the person so I suppose I like challenges. Sometimes as I chase away the one who I was talking to after hitting on me, I want to talk to them again. Its like okay now I want you. There's just something comforting and satisfying about liking someone who doesn't notice you haha. You would think I'd like the guy Im staring at to hid on me and come at me, but its happened before and I just got turned off, didn't feel it as much anymore.

    When u are old and fat and wrinkled u will long for the days when u got hit on. I'm 42 now and 20 years ago I caused traffic accidents but these days while I still get hit on it's maybe 3 times a month and I wonder why I got mad at the attention. Enjoy it while u can. Your day is coming.

    I only hit on my girlfriend, and she seems to like it. But a lot of girls feel the way you do. Just wait a few decades, and it'll stop.

    I understand this sentiment to a degree.

    When I'm out and about, working, studying, shopping, etc., I'm not in a mindset or position to want unsolicited romantic advances from strangers. It's annoying and sometimes creepy.

    I had a guy follow me in his car in a parking lot as I was walking to try to get my number. He then proceeded to follow my car, which was terrifying.

    Thats becuase in most cases this is very rude whistles calls they are all very impolite . sometimes flirtng can be flattering but alot of times being hit on can be just very harrasing .

    This sounds just like me. But then again im married. Also I know that when it pisses me off its because they're not up to my standar. I won't deny that I'm kind of a snob.

    My friend is like this. She gets really pissed when she gets hit on. But although I think it can be disrespectful sometimes, I won't lie, it can be flattering.

    Stop staring at them then, you're encouraging them to come over to talk to you. It's the drunks I can't be bothered with, who can't take the hint!!

    Usually, if you ask if they're going to buy you and all your friends a drink, they'll go away, pretty quickly. That's if they're jerks - I have had some buy 5 of us drinks ;o) We like them better after that!
