I really don't like facebook, I hate the pressure to upload photos and statuses and send messages and to have a huge number of friends on it, I plan on deleting my account soon but does anyone else despise facebook...?
Yes, the main thing I hate about Facebook is the mundane, depressing posts so many of the girls I went to high school make. About doing laundry or dusting or "waiting for hubby to get home." Or people who use Facebook as a political or religious soapbox. Yeah, I hate Facebook too....but I keep using it for some reason.

Yess, its almost depressing, just a bunch of people adding you who do not even hardly talk to you just to increase the amount of friends they have. I can't stand social networking sites. I'm looking to delete my acount too.
Fucking yes!!!!!!!!!! I also hate facebook, all the pressure from it is overbearing I never it tried it and everyone wants me to do something on it, I might as well announce it on the fucking news that i do not have a facebook so i stop getting asked about it
i consider FB to be a disease! however, i have fb with hundreds of pictures that were lost on my old computer, so once i am down transfering them i want to delete my FB. i spend too much time on fb and real friends arent made on FB, fb only hurts your social personality.
I HATE Facebook. It's taking over everything and everyone. When I saw that movie they made about it, I nearly threw up.
FB is annoyig and absolutely over-rated. Why do I care what anyone is having for dinner or watching on youtube...lame lame lame.
I'm yet to get a Facebook so I can't really complain about the site. However, I've seen some screenshots of it on tumblr. Some of it is funny while the majority is stupid and depressing. It's like twitter with the pointless statuses (tweets) and what not. There's good and bad for any site. As much as I dislike what I've seen, a part of me still wants to try it out. See if it's really worth all the buzz. To improve your experience on there, you can adjust your privacy settings. Let certain people seen your business and don't add people you don't know. They don't deserve to know your personal business like the operation you had last Tuesday. It's normal.
Yeah, I think it's a giant waste of time. I deleted mine 2 months ago and I don't regret it!

Yeah I hate twitter too. Pretty pointless. I like Facebook though. You can just add friends, and not everyone else who spams if that's what irritates you.
I would delete my account, but I'm too lazy to log on and find the button :p
You don't have to "friend" everyone. I refuse the annoying ones and my page stays interesting. I've grown to love it...after many deletes. If deleting people isn't your thing because you fear offending someone then leave them there...just adjust your settings so that their posts are hidden.
