I hate marijuana, XTC, meth, you name it, I hate it. I hate all drugs and I am completely intolerant of it. But I like alcohol. But not beer, whisky, other alcohol. I mainly like vodka, cocktails, and Pina Collada the most but they say alcohol is worse than marijuana yet I have never tried it or never plan on doing it. Is this normal?
I voted saying this is normal, but I'm not saying that it's a good thing.
It's a normal intolerance and close-mindedness, I guess?
There is a certain stigma around drugs, and we have all basically been conditioned to think that DRUGS ARE BAD but drinking is somehow okay?
Alcohol is a drug, and it takes a far worse toll on your body (and mind) that marijuana.
(I'm using marijuana as an example because you did, I'm not trying to say that marijuana is the only drug)
You shouldn't say you hate drugs without having tried them, and you shouldn't say you hate drugs when you obviously haven't even tried to understand them. Maybe you know someone who has a fucked up relationship with drugs, and that's why you're feeling this way?
Anyway, yes, it is normal to feel this way; but no, it's not a good way to be.
It's a question of taste. But don't forget: alcohol is a drug too. There's no difference between drinking alcohol and taking illegal drugs. Furthermore, alcohol damages your health more than weed, ecstasy and amphetamine. Alcohol is much closer to heroine, if take to account the health damage
Drinking too much is bad too but here's the thing: whether pot is worse or not than drinking, ppl who smoke pot and do drugs are generally more open to drug culture which is much more degenerate. There's a certain level of social acceptability to ppl who drink which does not exist for other drugs. Bc of this, ppl who wouldn't try drugs like weed will try drinking. This is part of the reason normal ppl I'll drink over smoking pot or doing other drugs.
im just like you drugs i hate with a PASSION! but i think drinking alcohol is exactly fine! as long as you know how to control it atleast
That's the way I see it too. I don't use any kind of drugs, but I do like alcohol. It doesn't really matter what kind of alcohol, everyone has a different taste in that.
One question: how could you say that you hate the illegal drugs if you never tried it?
