Is it normal to hate corniness related with being in love?

I have a boyfriend, going for a month, and I'm 17. Is it normal for me to detest all the corniness that, in a cliche fashion, is related to being in love? I hate reading gooey status messages, or constant messages of "I love you" to one another. I also can't understand the concept of making another person their "world".

It's me not acting like this, making me doubt if I am in love, period. I do think of my BF a lot, smile at the mention of his name, I dream about him. Is this normal?

You are in love. But all the stuff you said you hate is called puppy love. I hate that shit too.

But when you said you dream about him I lol'ed and thought you are a hopeless romantic at heart.

U don't understand the concept of making someone ur "world" becuase u have not felt that yet. If u don't like it don't do it. U shouldn't tell someone u love them unless u actually do. He clearly wants to show his feelings for u bu doing these things. But to me it seems a little early in the relationship. Let him know ifbu don't like it

Normal.. not everybody likes this "loving" stuff.. i get quite annoyed as well..
I believe that what you feel is inside you, and all these that u've described remind me the "relationships" i had when i was 16..but it depends on the person really.
