This is a matter of deep contention between my mother and I. She insists brownies have frosting and no nuts, but I prefer brownies without frosting and with nuts. In general, I don't like overly sweet desserts. American cinnamon rolls/buns/pin-wheels are covered in this disgusting sugar glaze that just ruins them for me. You can't even taste the dough or the cinnamon under that shit. I hate most glazed stuff. It's so bitingly sweet it hurts. Also, while I'm at it, all fruit fillings should be WAY more sour. Use less sugar, people.
