Is it normal to hate black comedians talking about being black?

Just wonder if it is wrong/bad/racist to hate listening to black comedians talking about being black. I dont like it because I am not racist and would rather just hear a comedian being funny. White comedians dont talk about being white, how boring would that be? Although jewish comedians do talk about being jewish. Help im confused, comments please

A black man has the right to talk of his own race. How ever if a caucasian was to say the exact same jokes people would find it racist. Everyone has a different point of view.

They are just talking about what is known to them, things that matter to them, things that are on their mind. They have that freedom of talking about race and so they do; I see nothing wrong with it. I just watched Chris Rock's show the other day and I quite enjoyed it. I'm a white man by the way.

Jeff Foxworthy talks about being a redneck because he his; kind of the same thing really.

i thought the black guy from The Marine was funny. I guess it depends on the person.

Most funny people developed a sense of humour as a way of avoiding being bullied. If black comedians are talking about being black, Jewish comedians about being Jewish, Iranian comedians about being Iranian (we have two here and they both talk about it quite a lot), then doesn't it say something deeper about society?

So it would be acceptable for a caucasian to joke about "White Guilt" complex?

The caucasian POV on this subject might be joking about being overly PC, like never saying "black", always "african-american", even out of context. Talking about how they get offended by other races being insulted, too.

I find it annoying that there is a double-standard in this context, and all contexts when it comes to racial inequality. Something like minority quotas is not helping the issue, neither are taboo words. Words have power.

yeah its like everyone thinks being black is a joke in it self. even if you go on youtube titles describing the person as ''black'' or ''fat'' always get more views... anyway it gets annoying how often black comedians pull ''the race card'' it gets too predictable and boring

The jokes for the most part are relatable as heck to other black people, and a few hispanic comedians tell similar jokes that are also insanely relatable too.

For me anyway, the joke only gets old of it drags on for too long. White comedians almost aways talk about things besides race but I laugh just the same. It's just learning to laugh at yourself to me.
