Is it normal to hate being with young teens ?

Is it normal to be jealous of 13 and 14 year olds who are taking french cource with you and you're like in your late twenties .Okay you like the idea that the french teacher put you with those younger than you and not those that are way older than you , it could have been the opposite , but still the teens learn faster and are better and also because of being young ,very smart , pretty , loved , cooler, and a typical cool sometimes catty teenager . I don't like being the bigger one in the cource, thankfully there are two around my age , aslo like you know how when there are young people like young teens and older ones , so the older ones kinda babysit the teens or take care of them(help them , give adivce ..etc) , this i don't do , i never did when my younger sibling was thier age , so why should i do that to other people's kids ?!

    I would just claim a section in the corner of the classroom with the other two your age, as far away from the teens as possible. and throw peanuts at the nasty little heathens.

    They're just kids though and you are an adult; you don't have to like them, just set a good example.
