Is it normal to hate being touched in any way?

I think I'm an average guy but I don't like being touched in any way. When I'm with my friends and one of them touched my arm or tries to give me a hug I feel strange and I really don't like the feeling. The same happens if someone brushes past me in the street, I don't like being touched by people unless they have my unsaid permission. When I am with women it is fine, I don't mind it if I am going out with someone and they touch me, but when anyone else touches me (men and women alike) I feel strange. Is this normal?

    I don't have this but my friend does. If you accidentally brush past her arm she freaks out, also if you say sssssssssss she squirms

    My friend is like this, she is Aspergers. SHe will have to make involuntary jerks if someone brushes her accidentally.

    Were u ever diagnosed with add or anything? I was when I was a kid. I hated being touched. I'd cringe when my mother would lay a hand on me. I hated anybody touching me up until I was like 18 or 19. The physical therapist they took me to said people with ADHD and stuff have "overloads" to their senses sometimes. Touch is a particularly common one. To crave specific physical stimulation like rubbing your hands on carpet yet hating others, like people touching you

    I hate being touched ! There is this chick at Tafe that keeps on touching me and it makes me sick ! I have told her off about it twice now but i feel like I'm going to snap everytime she goes too !

    i too hate to be touched...like some of my friend try to touch my face, and even wana kiss me, i hate this... i havent ever kissed or hugged my GF...

    I hate when people randomly touch me, except girls. And honestly that annoys me too except my girlfriend. Personal space please? Thanks.

    same for me, even when people get close. even my family. i get a tense sensation and want to get at a distance in my own space. and hugs make me tense. however if i am goin owt with a person i feel less tense for some reason ???
