Is it normal to hate being in the sun?

I have this weird fear of being in direct sunlight. I don't mind if it's dimmed by clouds, or if it's rising or setting, but when it's just pure sunny out I hate going outside. I always close all the curtains and try my best to sleep in that day. The bright sun just bothers me for some reason.

I hate the sun too. It hurts my eyes and burns my skin. Really, really hate it.

I don't like it much either, I deal with it when I have to since I live in Florida. Just remember vitamin d or a walk when the sun is rising or setting.

  • I hate it too mostly because I think that if I get tan I will look ugly. I like my pure white skin. I hate dark skin. Yuck

When I'm in full sun it feels like my skins frying like bacon.. But I deal by using SPF 30 or 50 sunscreen.

  • I love the sun, it provides light and warmth, the only downside is that in the summer I get tanned really easily and quickly when I don't even need it because I'm mixed race. So yeah being even more tanned is the only annoying part lol.

I like the winter sun, because it can bring me warm, but do not like the summer sun, because it is too hot and make my tan

It bothers me as well. I think it's because I spend so much time indoors so, when I go out my body doesn't know how to properly deal with it. I wear transitions but no matter what my eyes are still sensitive to the sunlight. It's blindingly painful. I can't stand the heat either. I don't know how I made it through all those agonisingly hot summer days at camp.
