We are slaves to the federal reserve it is a privately owned off shore bank that operates outside the rules and regulations of our own (corrupt) government. They own our money and if u haven't yet realized our money owns us! If this is new and shocking to u it's been this way for almost a century

Yes, I think it's normal. I'm a housekeeper and keep going around the park over and over again. It gets annoying, tedious, and frustrating. I've wasted a lot of summers there. The worst part is I have no one to talk too while I am working; so I talk to myself like that Milton character. When I am working I am thinking what am I doing I could be having fun and experiencing life. Everytime I see people come into the park, I wonder what kind of job that keeps well off. To me life is all about fun and games. Sort of like the Na'Vi on Pandora. They have fun all the time and know how to live life. Life would be so much simpler if people would stop saying it's not all fun and games.
So much for the BS that unions are no longer necessary. Employment should be about dignity and decency. I think the only way they will is for strong pressure to be on government to establish a living wage, and, unionization.
Bud is right that they pay poorly because they can and would pay less if they could.
Minimum wage jobs do suck... though at least you know there is a chance for a raise, since minimum wage often goes up annually. I work at a job that pays slightly more than minimum, but we are not guaranteed raises, which sucks. I slave away all day, and then the government takes my money. The rest of it goes towards bills and crap. So I'm basically left with nothing at the end of the week. I slave away every day, and for what? I often wonder what is the point of my life. Why bother? My bills amount to about $3200 per month. I take home $1640. FML!!!!! My hubby works too, and thankfully makes more than me, but he is taxed to hell, and still has bills to pay too. So yeah, what is the point of this life?!?!?!?!?!
Well, chickie, since you put it like that...I dunno! Unless you're a trust fund baby, independently wealthy, a lucky lotto winner, or a celebrity, you pretty much work your ass off to pay bills and HOPEFULLY squeeze in some joy when you can. It's a bit blunt and rather depressing, but it's life. Better than being dead? Maybe?

Why can countless people, day in and day out, do things to improve the quality of their lives but you can't? I've got an art degree for the past 8 years since graduating have mainly worked for agencies. I'm on the minimum wage, and get called up daily if there's work, or not. It sucks. The job is noisy factory work. Standing on our feet 8 hours (or 12 but i never do 12). I hate it. It makes me feel so worthless and helpless, it's slowly bashing me in...
Suck it up. IF you can ever manage to obtain employment, it'll pay minimum wage. That's all you'll ever accomplish in life, Bud. So again...suck it up.
When you no longer can leaching off of your parents and are truly alone and have to survive on what you do and only what you do, you will then understand. But now, you are just talking out of your ass and thinking life is just fun and games when it isn't.
