Is it normal to hate babies in the office?

Is it normal to be annoyed when workmates bring babies into the office? There's a time and a place and work is hard enough without a screaming baby at the next desk. I can understand people bringing their rugrats in to show them off but could they not stay in the canteen or something?!

    Sorry, don't think I explained it properly - the people are not working just visiting the office while on leave so surely it would be better to meet people in the canteen rather than disturb people who are working?

    I understand. They can be pretty distracting, especially when you're trying to get work done. Just try and keep your mind off of it, and if it really gets too bad, have a talk with your coworkers.

    Well maybe if mom (or dad) had more freedom from the office during infancy the child wouldn't be such a screamer. Or perhaps business really doesn't really care about family as it effects the bottom line.

    or just leave them in a room with watter or something let the strong survive eh?
