Is it normal to hate babies?

I don´t really hate them. I know they are little human beings, and I even like to see baby pictures and baby things in pastel colors. But, if you give me a baby I just freak out. I don´t get them because they can´t speak, and they don´t understand what I am saying. I have a year-old niece and unlike my family I simply can´t take care of her. It drives me insane to not be able to be around babies...

    Eh, personally I don't mind other people's kids in small doses so long as they're behaving. I don't see what the big deal is though. Yeah sure, some babies are cute... most aren't. Oh they're wonderful little bits of potential, they could grow up to become anything... but they'll probably just grow up to be just as screwed up as the rest of us working some meaningless miserable job. Quite frankly I don't understand what the big deal is. And screaming babies and children... my honest first thought is "kill it" (parent or child, take your pick).

    As far as maternal instinct and the 'ticking clock' goes, most of that is hormonal and/or biological urges... there are places for people who can't control their urges. Most of them have bars on the windows.

    sometimes i do hate babies, especially if i have to hear one screaming or wailing when we're out somewhere or even on tv. i even feel like hurting a baby randomly sometimes but thats not to say i hate them in general like if i see a video of them or pictures of them i think their cute

      Same here. I cant stand the shrieking sound they make when they cry. For a tiny thing they can be really loud.

    I love kid, when I was younger I would babysit and now I teach Sunday school. I hate being around babies though. I like kids that are two and older. I think it's totally normal to not like babies.

    I don't like being around babies and small children if they scream. :) I only like them if they're quiet. I don't hate them, I just am not good with babies. I'm female, and a lot of people act like I'm crazy for not wanting children. I think it's normal, but some people will think you're weird for it.

    lol its worse when a pregnant woman asks u to touch her tummy to feel her baby, not common to hate babies but i know how u feel even tho im a guy,the thing bout babies is they exactly observe what ur doin if ur happy the baby is happy if ur nervous the baby is nervous or sometimes that doesnt work either jus dont conquer bout it too much no one does,in the future could possible become a prob with ur spouse tho n @343Boy shuddup homophobic homo
